Reduce Image Size Free is designed to minimize the amount of personal data needed to use the core image-compression tool.
Image processing
Images selected in the compressor are processed in your browser for operations such as resizing, compression, format conversion, comparison, and creation of downloadable output files.
The core compression workflow does not require your selected image file to be uploaded to our server for processing.
Image metadata
Depending on the source file, an image can contain metadata such as camera information, timestamps, or location-related EXIF fields. When the tool re-encodes an image with metadata stripping enabled, common EXIF metadata is not carried into the newly generated output.
You should still inspect sensitive files before sharing them if privacy is important to your use case.
Server and hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may automatically receive technical information when you visit the site. This can include IP address, browser type, requested URL, date and time, referring page, and other standard request or security information.
This information can be used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and reliable operation of the website.
Cookies and local browser storage
The core image compressor does not require an account. WordPress, hosting, caching, security, or other site components may use cookies or browser storage where technically necessary.
If advertising, analytics, consent-management, or other services that use additional cookies are enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to describe those services and any choices available to visitors.
Third-party resources
Pages may load technical resources from third-party infrastructure, such as fonts, libraries, hosting, caching, or content-delivery services. When a browser requests a third-party resource, that provider may receive normal web-request information such as an IP address and user-agent information.
Contact form
If you contact us through the site, the information you submit may include your name, email address, and message. That information is used to read and respond to your request and may be retained as reasonably necessary for correspondence, security, or recordkeeping.
Please do not send passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, private medical information, or other highly sensitive data through the contact form.
Journal and external links
The Journal may link to external documentation, products, services, or other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and policies. Visiting an external link is subject to the third party’s terms and privacy policy.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
Reduce Image Size Free may in the future display advertising or use affiliate links to support the project. If advertising services such as Google AdSense are enabled, additional privacy disclosures, consent mechanisms, and cookie choices may apply depending on your location. This policy will be updated when those services are implemented.
Data retention
We aim to keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to operate and secure the site, or to meet applicable legal obligations.
Children’s privacy
The site is intended as a general-purpose web utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information from a child has been submitted through the contact form, please contact us so it can be reviewed.
Your privacy choices
You can use the core compressor without creating an account. You can also choose not to submit information through the contact form and can control cookies or browser storage through your browser settings, subject to the functionality required by the site.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site adds or changes features, analytics, advertising, integrations, or infrastructure. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
