This image compressor processes the selected source file in your browser instead of requiring you to upload it to a remote compression server. That makes it useful when you want a simpler, more private workflow for ordinary image resizing, conversion, and compression.

What “without upload” means here

Your browser reads the selected image, decodes it into memory, performs the requested resize or re-encoding operation, and creates a new downloadable file. The source image does not need to be sent to our server for the compression operation.

Why use a private image compressor?

Many online image tools work by sending the file to a server, processing it remotely, then returning the result. That model can be perfectly legitimate, but it creates an additional copy and an additional system that handles the source image.

Local browser processing removes that requirement for the core compression workflow. It is especially useful for personal photos, client images, internal screenshots, pre-publication assets, and other files you would rather process locally.

Privacy still requires judgment

Local compression does not mean every part of the website is invisible to the internet. Like normal websites, the hosting infrastructure can receive standard web-request information when you visit a page. The important distinction is that the selected source image itself does not need to be uploaded to our compression server for processing.

Is this a private image compressor?

It is privacy-oriented because the core image processing occurs in the browser and does not require sending the selected source file to our compression server.

Does the output remove EXIF metadata?
